An assignment to create an illustration for the back of a postcard. I found this assignment to be really challanging as I tried to capture the chaos at this point in the story. It was also challenging for me because I kept thinking of the original Maurice Salek artwork. I tried to make it all my own and just interpret the text as I would had I never seen the original art. My pride in this illustration comes from it’s authenticity to me.
