“Grandma’s Sweetest Story”

“Grandma’s Sweetest Story” tells the tale of a Grandmother who opens up to her granddaughter, Cecelia, about losing her own Grandmother at a young age. As Grandma tells her sugarcoated version of a story of great loss, Cecelia imagines the whole room filling with honey; Slowing down time and freezing the moment with her and Grandma.

“Grandma spoke of Grenada as a distant memory. The stories of her childhood when told by anyone else sounded unfortunate and somber. But, when Grandma told it, it was like a song whose melody was sweet and rich like honey.”
